Free Asthma Tests in May

Free Asthma Screenings will be offered at more than 200 sites across the United States in May, which is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month.

Fountain Valley: May 2, 10am - 2pm @ Fountain Valley Hospital, 17100 Euclid Avenue
Mission Viejo: May 16, The Shops At Mission Viejo, 555 The Shops At Mission Viejo
Huntington Beach: May 30, 1pm - 4pm @ Walmart, 8230 Talbert Avenue
San Juan Capistrano: May 31, 8am - 12pm @Capistrano Unified School District Education Center, 3K-5K Run, 33122 Valle Road

Adults and children with symptoms such as wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath are encouraged to take advantage of the screenings that will be conducted by allergists.

During a screening, adults and older children complete a 20-question test, while children under age 15 complete a special test that allows them to answer questions about any breathing problems. There's another test available for parents of children up to 8 years of age.
