The Orangewood Jaycees will be giving a hand to homeless on Thanksgiving morning. The Jaycees and other volunteers will be starting at 7am distributing coats and food.
If you are interested in donating coats, blankets, tents, peanut butter, jelly, bread, or sandwich bags these items can be dropped-off at the Orangewood Children's Foundation at 1574 E. 17th St., Santa Ana to the attention of Joanne Armstrong.
If you are interested in volunteering your time on Thanksgiving morning to assemble the bagged lunches, sort coats and clothing, transport food & clothing or distribute coats and lunches to the homeless contact Joanne Armstrong at ojcpresident08@gmail.com. Last year, 130 volunteers distributed over 1,300 coats and 500 sandwiches to the homeless of Orange County.
